The devastating earthquake in 25th April 2015, an urgency is inevitable to support the victims. Solar Cinema Nepal formed its members and volunteers- Ready hand team to support the earthquake affected villages. 

Five members of Solar Cinema Nepal were started their journey to Dolakha (Singadi,VDC) for assisting the relief program in collaboration with local Swiss Development Cooperation Network today. The team aim was to assist local people primarily. “As we took our meal at Khadichaur and after 9 kilometer the trees on the side of road started to shake. The bus stopped and we ran to the ground nearby. Lots of dust from other hills began to come. There were several landslides on hills. The environment was full of dust. The aftershocks continued. We moved after 30 minutes. There were lots of rocks on the road fallen from hills. More than 95% houses were damaged. We stopped on Kharidhunga. The road was blocked ahead. We stayed about 3 hours there. A lady was injured by falling from her house and broke her backbone. We were blocked two times by big landslides and reached Charikot. About 25 people were dead. Nobody is inside their house. We are in tudikhel in charikot” said by Baburam Nepali.
